Mushrooms – are they magic after all?
Mushrooms performing magic
Findings published in the International Journal of Cancer found that women eating a third of an ounce of fresh mushrooms every day were 64 percent less likely to develop a tumour.
That’s a statement that’s worth listening to

According to a Chinese study, eating a portion of mushrooms a day could reduce the risk of breast cancer by up to two-thirds.
Given mushrooms are natural, healthy, alkaline forming (as opposed to acid forming) and just downright tasty, wouldn’t it be worth the effort to try to incorporate more into your diet if there was the slightest possibility it might also reduce the chance of breast cancer? Or any cancer for that matter?!
Acid alkaline diet
Remember I said, they’re alkaline forming, meaning you help balance your body’s pH whilst you’re at it.
Give mushrooms a go. They go with just about every meal – whether you have them on wheat-free toast for brekky, cook them up in a casserole, stuff them, top them, bbq them with your meal, or saute them into a rissoto.
Magic … mushrooms. A statement we’re not supposed to think is ok.
Enjoy,
Monique
